23-25 November, 2005, Beriev Aircraft Company participated in exhibition "Transport. Logistics. Security", which was conducted in Rostov-on-Don within the framework of "Transport Forum of the south of Russia". Services and enterprises of railway, automobile, air transport of Rostov Region and Southern Federal District were presented in exhibition exposition. Forum was opened by A.P. Pochinok - Deputy Authorized Representative of President of the Russian Federation in Southern Federal District, S.A. Bystrov - Director of Infrastructure and Investment Development Department of the RF Ministry of Transport, Zh.H. Vartanyan - Deputy Head of Region Administration, Minister of Automobile Roads, Transport and Communications of Rostov Region. After opening, Heads of Southern Federal District and Region among others become acquainted with the Beriev booth and products of complex. Both officials and visitors paid special attention to new projects of Be-101 and Be-112 amphibian aircraft. Our booth represented also information about already developed infrastructure of hydroaviaport in Gelendzhik on which test base we regularly conduct International exhibitions and Scientific Conferences on hydroaviation (Gidroaviasalon). The next "Gidroaviasalon-2006" will be conducted from 6th till 10th of September, 2006. The forum scope also included the Round Table meeting on the following issues: discussion of measures on working efficiency enhancement and on improvement of interaction between territorial and federal executive power authorities, federal government agencies and enterprises functioning in the region of Southern Federal District transport. The Round Table was held by A.P. Pochinok - Deputy Authorized Representative of President of the Russian Federation in Southern Federal District, A.V. Kolganov - Deputy Head of Department of Economic and Social Policy of Authorized Representative Office of the RF President in Southern Federal District, S.A. Bystrov - Director of Infrastructure and Investment Development Department of the RF Ministry of Transport. The Round table meeting included discussion of question about transport infrastructure enlargement of Rostov Region at the expense of amphibian-aircraft. Beriev Aircraft company suggested Region Administration undertaking the following functions: coordinate formation of amphibian aviation routes over the region, solve questions about amphibian-aircraft operation, analyze effectiveness of legal rules in the area of hydroaviation and introduce proposals on their improvement with the following acceptance at the level of RF constituent and their introduction at Federal level.
