14-18 November, 2005, delegation of specialists from Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) was working at Beriev Aircraft Company together with group of specialists from Aviation Register of Interstate Aviation Board. The purpose of this visit was validation (certification) of Be-103 light-weight amphibian aircraft in People's Republic of China. Joint Russian-Chinese crews performed series of flights on Be-103 amphibian aircraft including landing on water. In CAAC specialists' opinion, in the nearest future, Russian amphibian will be certified in People's Republic of Chine that will allow to deliver aircraft to the first customers in this country. Be-103 amphibian aircraft is developed in accordance with ÀÏ-23, FAR-23, JAR-23 Aviation Rules and has Russian Type Certificate of Normal Category. It was certified in 2003 according to standards of USA Federal Aviation Authority, and it obtained Airworthiness Certificate in Brazil in 2005. At the present time, we negotiate with another foreign customers about amphibian aircraft deliveries.
