Within the period of 11 to 15 of April, 2005, the International Hannover Trade Fair, which is the largest in Europe, took place in Hannover (Germany). Beriev Aircraft Company together with "IRKUT" Corporation took part in this first-rate international industrial and economic affair. At the exhibition, Beriev Aircraft Company presented Be-200 multipurpose amphibious aircraft and Be-103 light multipurpose amphibious aircraft as a part of the joint display of the Russian Aviation Industry. When attending the Russian exposition, Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, and Gerhard Schreuder, the German Chancellor, familiarized themselves with these amphibious aircraft. The business meetings conducted in the course of the exhibition, proved that Be-200 multipurpose amphibious aircraft has good export prospects, which is confirmed by Beriev Aircraft Company efforts in the process of Be-200 amphibious aircraft certification in Europe with assistance of EADS and AIRBUS specialists. By now, the flight display of Be-200 aircraft has been conducted in France and Greece. Moreover, specialists of USA and Portugal fire fighting services got familiar with this aircraft and expressed their interest in the aircraft flight performance. Be-103 light multipurpose amphibious aircraft has quite good sale prospects as well. It has been launched into serial production and has Russian Normal Type Certificate in compliance with Russian Aviation Regulations ÀÏ-23. Besides, Be-103 aircraft is certified according to FAA standards. Beriev Aircraft Company received proposals to start the certification process in China and Brazil. Three aircraft have already been supplied to the first American customer. In general, the joint display of the Russian Federation at Hannover Fair, which included the exposition of Beriev Aircraft Company, proved that this country has a number of unique technologies and is capable of manufacturing high-tech products.
