Dear sirs ! 5TH International Aviation Exhibition Aero India 2005 was held in Bangalore (India) at Yelohanka Indian Air Force Base on February 9-13, 2005. Beriev Aircraft Company took part in the event jointly with IRKUT Corporation. At the exhibition, Beriev Aircraft Company presented information on Be-200 multipurpose amphibian, and on other projects. In the course of the exhibition, negotiations on these subjects were held with delegations from countries of Southeast Asia, and from European countries. The basic (firefighting) version of the Be-200 as well as special versions of the aircraft (including the cargo-passenger carrying version) aroused certain interest. In general, Aero India 2005 revealed increased interest of aircraft industry and air service experts in hydroaviation and prospects of its development in Southeast Asia.
