On October 1, 2003 Viktor A. Kobzev was appointed new Director General of BERIEV Aircraft Company. Viktor A. Kobzev was born on November 14, 1949. He has graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute. Having covered the way from the apprentice fitter to the Deputy Designer General he had been working at BERIEV Aircraft Company since 1966. Since 1992 till 2002 he was the Director General of "BETA AIR". Since 2002 he was the First Deputy Director General of BERIEV Aircraft Company. He took an active part in the development of Tu-142MP and A-50 aircraft, A-40, Be-200 amphibious aircraft. He was decorated with the order "the Sign of honour" and with the medal "For the military valour".
