Dear sirs ! From July 21 to July 24, 2003 BERIEV Aircraft Company with a Greek Company "Scorpion" carried out demo flights of the Be-200 multipurpose amphibious aircraft for representatives of the Greek Ministry of Civil Security at air base of Greek Air Force in Elefsis, in the suburb of Athens. The delegation of BERIEV Aircraft Company was headed by the First Deputy Director General V.A. Kobzev. During demo flights the Greek side examined the Be-200 possibilities for fire fighting, water dropping system, maneuverability of the aircraft operations at highlands typical for Greece, its capacity for cargo transportation. During the flights, the amphibious aircraft was flown by test-pilots of BERIEV with Greek pilots. The Greek specialists highly appreciated flight-technical and operational performance of the Russian amphibian. On July 24 the Be-200 returned to Taganrog. The aircraft was flown by the crew consisting of the captain - test-pilot K.V. Babich, co-pilot - test-pilot N.P. Kuleshov, test-navigator Y.N. Gerasimov.
