Dear Sirs! On November 15, 2002 the board of directors of BERIEV Aircraft Company satisfied the request of Director General G.S. Panatov about his resignation. Valentin V. Boev was unanimously elected Director General of BERIEV Aircraft Company. V.V. Boev was born October 27, 1936. He has graduated from the Kalmikov Institute of Radio Engineering of Taganrog. Having covered the way from the design engineer to the first deputy Director General, he has been working at BERIEV Aircraft Company since 1961. V.V. Boev took an active part in the creation of Tu-142MP, A-50 aircraft and A-40, Be-103, Be-200 amphibians. For his merits in the field of creation of the new aircraft he was decorated with the orders "the Sign of Honour" and "October Revolution".
