BERIEV Aircraft Company traditionally go on working with amphibious aircraft.

- Certification tests of the Be-200 multipurpose amphibian have been successfully accomplished, and it's got the type certificate of strict category. To date the Be-200 turned from the experimental-design prototype into real and competitive product able to fill up a yet unoccupied niche at the aviation market.

- This amphibious aircraft has been designed by BERIEV Aircraft Company and serially manufactured by Irkutsk Aviation Industrial Association. The main purpose of the aircraft is forest fire fighting. The aircraft can also perform passenger and cargo transportations. A contract for the delivery of seven Be-200 has been signed with the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations.

- The Be-200 was successfully demonstrated at the international exhibitions in Le Bourget (France), MAKS '99 (Zhukovsky, Russia) and "Gidroaviasalon-2000" (Gelendzhik, Russia), where the flying program included dropping the water on the imaginary forest fire. In October, 2001 the Be-200 amphibian has been demonstrated at two large exhibitions of Asian-Pacific region - International Aircraft and Naval Equipment Exhibition LIMA '01 in Malaysia and Korean Aerospace and Defense Exhibition KADE '01 in South Korea. The route was 22391 km long with landings in 14 cities of 8 countries. The Be-200 has performed such a long flight for the first time. Demonstration flights with scooping of water and following dropping have been performed at both exhibitions.

- The works on the A-40 aircraft are going on. The aircraft has set 144 world records. The 4 new records have been set at the 3rd International exhibition on hydroaviation "Gidroaviasalon 2000". In Taganrog, the manufacturing of the A-42 search-and-rescue amphibious aircraft, a modification of the A-40 aircraft, is being performed. The A-40E aircraft, the export version of the "Albatross", has been designed for the foreign customers.

- The Be-12P and the Be-12P-200 amphibians, re-equipped by BERIEV Aircraft Company, are going on with fighting forest fires. We are ready to put at your disposal the aircraft for forest fire fighting on request of any region of Russia as well as on demand of any country of the world.

Besides amphibians, BERIEV Aircraft Company are working with land-based aircraft:

- The works on modernization of the A-50 early-warning aircraft are going on.

- At the air show in Le Bourget this year IAIA, BERIEV Aircraft Company, Klimov Design Bureau (Sanct-Peterburg) and joint-stock company "Motor-Sich" (Zaporozhie) have signed joint memorandum about designing and manufacturing of the Be-132MK regional airliner, equipped with VK-1500P engines. The designer of the aircraft is TANTK. Development and delivery of the engines are performing by Klimov Design Bureau and joint-stock company "Motor-Sich". The serial manufacturing of this aircraft is planned to be performed by IAIA and "TAVIA" (Taganrog).
