On September 8th, 2007 BERIEV Aircraft Company (JSC) and "Taganrogskaya Aviatsiya" (JSC) hosted an Open Day.
Open Day is an educational event for school children and students as well as for children and relatives of the companies' employees.
Open Day offered:
- excursions to experimental design bureau, workshops of pilot and serial plants;
- visiting the aviation materiel of "BERIEV" and "ÒÀVIÀ";
- visiting the air sports club;
- shows performed by the aeromodellers from "BERIEV" and College of Aeronautics;
- demonstration flights of aviation materiel, glider-pilots and parachute jumps;
- sport games for children;
- familiarization of the children with work stations of their parents;
- watching the video films on history and activity of the companies.
Management of the companies considers an Open Day as a required trend of activities dedicated to assist the development of our society. This event will also attract young generation to join the rows of the companies employees.
