On the 24th of November, 2006 the shareholders meeting of "Taganrogskaya aviatsia" (hereafter TAVIA Company) was held. During the meeting the shareholders of TAVIA Company elected new members of Board of Directors and a new Director General of the Company. Viktor A. Kobzev, who at present occupies the post of Director General of Beriev Aircraft Company, was elected a new Director General of TAVIA Company. This appointment is the first step on the way of foundation of a united aviation complex, specializing in hydroaviation and development of special-purpose integrated aviation systems. The association of the two companies will allow to increase the amount of orders, to preserve and to develop the available scientific, engineering and industrial potential, to enhance the use of production capabilities, to accomplish the renovation and technical upgrade of production facilities.
