Multipurpous amphibious aircraft for the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations is
intended for:
- firefighting,
- renering urgent help in creatical areas of emergency,
- search&rescue missions in the sea,
- ambulance missions,
- freight.
The Be-200ES amphibian is equipped with two bypass jet engines, type D-436TP, 7650 kg
take-off thrust each (Motor Sich, Ukraine).
On June 20, 2003 the aircraft obtained the type certificate for restricted category aircraft
¹ ÑÒÎÊ 220-Áå-200×Ñ.
On December 29, 2003 the type certificate
¹ ÑÒ229-Áå-200×Ñ was obtained too.
Be-200 amphibious aircraft got the addition to the Russian type certificate ¹ÑÒOK220-Áå-200×Ñ/DO1, allowing the international airlines operation.
